Chesarina Chalet

Chesarina is a cosy alpine chalet located in a panoramic position in the heart of the Engadine valley, just a few minutes from the centre of St. Moritz. Illuminated by sunlight since the early hours of the morning, it can accommodate from 8 to 15 people in total comfort and is ideal for families with children and groups of friends. The interiors have been designed to be welcoming and functional, in full respect of the typical style of the place. On the main floor, there is a dining room with panoramic window and wood-burning oven, a large and well-stocked kitchen, a living room with fireplace, a large outdoor terrace. Upstairs are located the three main bedrooms with their bathrooms, on the ground floor the chalet has a private Spa with Jacuzzi, sauna, steam bath and direct access to the garden, three additional rooms (2 Guest Room and 1 Extra Room), an independent apartment that can accommodate up to 6 people and can be rented separately at a special price. In the basement there are garages reserved for guests. Last but not least, everything you can find a few kilometers from Chesarina: the ski slopes are 10 minutes by car, Saint Moritz is 15 minutes, the golf course of Samedan 10 minutes.

Excursion possibilities: What mountains. What lakes. What light! Whether on the 580km (360 miles) of hiking paths strewn over all the mountains or by mountain bike along 400km (250 miles) of fabulous trails: the Upper Engadin offers a superb network of paths and trails amidst an unspoilt Alpine landscape and the inspiring lake plateau. Four flow trails on the Corviglia guarantee a perfect flow. Equally popular among sports enthusiasts are the Upper Engadin lakes; kiting, sailing, windsurfing, stand up paddling – the possibilities are virtually endless. The expanse of the inspiring high-lying valley can be experienced in a particularly striking way on the two 18-hole golf courses in Samedan and Zuoz. And besides the wide range of sporting options, visitors can take advantage of the first-class cultural activities on offer, such as a visit to a museum or to one of the numerous art galleries in the various villages.  
In winter, the ski areas of Corviglia, Corvatsch, Diavolezza and family friendly Zuoz invite ski and snowboard enthusiasts to revel in 350 kilometres (218 miles) of the finest powder snow. Cross-country skiers will find over 220km (137 miles) of perfectly groomed trails in the Upper Engadin and the side valleys. The winter hiking paths and cross-country ski trails on the frozen Upper Engadin lakes are characterised by their light, sunshine and space amidst inspiring Alpine scenery. Those who would like to enjoy the tranquillity and beauty of the snow-covered forests can explore the side valleys of Val Roseg, Val Fex or Val Bever on 150 kilometres (90 miles) of winter hiking paths. Visitors who prefer to have everything in view, meanwhile, will delight in the breathtaking vistas on the panorama hiking trails high above the lakes on Muottas Muragl.  
Families can bask in the Engadin sun during a ride in a horse-drawn carriage into the Val Roseg or Val Fex, or race down the mountainside into the valley on the winding, 4.2km (2.6 mile) long toboggan run on Muottas Muragl.
